A cozy baking party was happening at Sweet Petite K earlier with four lovely girls, celebrating one of their besties’ big moment. When we say party, we make sure you can enjoy at least two types of freshly baked homemade goodies, a beautiful cake & some pastry bites after the workshop – a f t e r – p a r t y!
It was a special baking menu designed for the group – bride-to-be baking a four-layered earl grey lavender buttercream cake while the other girls baking earl grey rosewater cupcakes! #floraloverloaded so they could bring all the freshly baked goodies to the dinner party afterwards and share with all other friends!
This was the most powerful way of slicing a cake?! One holding the ruler, one stabilizing the turning stand, and one checking and directing from the side while the bride-to-be (Evelyn) slicing each slice precisely to 1 inch. Perfecto!
So perfect and the best way to demonstrate #girlspower !
Time to stack them all up and mask the cake, and the earl grey chocolate ganache drip of course.
Carefully and elegantly dripping at the edge, well done Evelyn!
Final garnish of some icing sugar and last but not least, edible flowers! Evelyn truly has talent on baking and decorating this earl grey-lavender ombre cake. Was so proud of her!
While Evelyn was busy masking and decorating the main centre piece, other besties were also busy frosting their lovely baked earl grey tea cupcakes! Look at them, nicely risen and spongy in the centre (slightly dome but not overwhelming). Let them be cool and get ready for the icing – rosewater buttercream!
Very well done, girls ♠
