While all my friends in Hong Kong are travelling to Korea / Japan around this time of the year in search of pretty spring flowers like cherry blossom, I remain here (sadly) and bake myself some beautiful goodies to keep my vibes ↑↑.
So here we go, the cherry blossom (sakura | 벚꽃) meringue kisses!

Okay, it might sound a bit too sweet for eating meringue kisses alone (although my kisses here are a bit different, which I added in some air-dried strawberry powders, they just taste heavenly good) so I browsed online and found the easiest way to take my meringue kisses to another level of greatness – Eton Mess!

On wikipedia, it says, “Eton mess is a traditional English dessert consisting of a mixture of strawberries, broken meringue, and whipped heavy cream.“
Strawberries √.
Meringue √.
Whipping cream √.
What are you waiting for?
(Don’t worry about the proportion of the ingredients, just add any amount that you feel like it. #becreative )
這個甜品真的非常簡單,不需要太刻意去量度份量,隨自己喜歡的就好,步驟如下,一步一步跟着做就可以了。






Top with some more fresh strawberries, some whole meringue kisses and a pair of mint leaves!
Then… dig in and enjoy!
